Governor Pritzker announced on June 16th, 2023 that his administration would be pausing new enrollment for immigrant health coverage beginning July 1. This will hurt thousands of low-income Illinois residents and create huge barriers to access the basic human right of healthcare. All of these decisions were made without consulting the communities they will impact. Healthy Illinois marched to Governor Pritzker’s office to demand he pause the pause and meet with Healthy Illinois Campaign.
